Dr. Janusz Rudzinski is one of thousands of Polish people working in Germany for decades and is a good example of how important cross-border workers are in Europe. In the hospital where he practices, 30 out of 120 doctors are Polish and a reduction of these professionals would be catastrophic.

When the worst of the Corona crisis hit, medical care was shut down, despite the fact that other health problems couldn’t wait until the pandemic was over. As a gynaecologist, Dr. Rudzinski witnessed at first-hand how tragic a delay can be for some patients, especially those with oncological diseases.
